Though we have been busy, we did get out last weekend for Easter.
On Friday we climbed to the top of Arther's Seat and attended a Good Friday service. On Saturday we watched a Passion play put on in the garden below the castle. The play was moving as one would expect, but we both had a hard time getting used to Jesus and the Roman guards having Scottish accents.
Today the weather was so nice that we headed to the Royal Botanical Gardens. I must say it was great to once again don the shorts and sandals. Overall the city is really coming alive. The number of people everywhere has exploded. We must be comfortable here because the "tourists" who randomly stop in the middle of a sidewalk are even getting annoying. Dare I say we have become city people. Good thing our little adventure is on the downward swing. Before you know it we will be back in big beautiful wide open Montana.
